Cheri’s Dragon 4-20-10

An old mum silver as the moon, took her nap at noon, loved the month of June.
As nature gently called her, on mornings brisk and clear, this old mum rode her tricycle under floppy hat and cheer.
One day an old man driver, unaware as he could be, hit sweet handicapped mum, then sped away fast to flee.
But let me quickly mention, her kids’ faces going pale, because old man lacked conscience and slipped that day away from jail.
The town went heavy with the sad tragic news, so a local author shouted out, “I’ll write the story as muse! Yes, I’ll script a tale about a dragon’s mighty touch and with it an ending showing justice and such!”
So daughter Cheri, authored wisely to be free, and tap tap did she single key after key.
Once Upon A Sage Dragon Time, the words from bended knee, please please sage dragon come to answer a daughter’s heartfelt plea.
It took a fervent beseeching to reach sage dragon’s ear, for dragon held white magic, it took the place of fear.
Quietly, from ancient stars ago, dragon’s head popped up that night; knowing that to set mum free would be a hero dragon’s delight.
So to the road to find dear mum, dragon searched from way up high; this was a mystical moment indeed no mere beast just asking why.
Then dragon’s eye looked down to see this sweet deaf injured mum, and swooped to carry her back again to the mountain from whence she’d come.
To a faraway land they destined, where muse Cheri often walks; it’s a place of purple beauty and screeching, soaring Red-tailed hawks.
Sage dragon spits out fire, to warm her toasty toes, yes also for Her Majesty’s slender fingers, knees and nose.
Sage dragon listens hard and nods that truth will always tell, yes never every worry my Queen that all will be well and all will be well.
Sage dragon leaps back to the milky black gray sky, every righteous vision carried to the court’s trial to fly.
Sage dragon drops to the tile roof hard; they hear her thud, they hear her cry, and some now swear she wore blood in her eye.
Sage dragon wings crash through windows of lead, frantic people running everywhere; they smelled their own dread.
But sage dragon’s flames burned just a warning today to Wake up, Play fair, Be kind and Share or from this day forward forever Beware, Beware.
